First off, growing up in the generation that I did, I really connect well with the use of technology. To have the Word of God laid out so simply for me to read and study has truly helped me interpret the Word like I’ve never been able to do before. The use of the ‘Parallel Bible’ feature has been a huge help for me personally in understanding how multiple different translations get the message across. Also, to have my preferred Bible of choice open (HCSB) alongside a couple different commentaries, I have found that my studies have been able to reach a new level of depth, resulting in a much clearer understanding of the true meaning of the Word.
Secondly, through being around this software, I’ve been introduced to some of the finest people alive in our world today. What some of you may know, but many may not know, is that while I use WORDsearch for my personal study at home, I also have the pleasure of working at WORDsearch.
God has entrusted me with a great deal of responsibility here, and it is one that I do not take lightly. The fact of the matter is that I have the blessing of getting do something I love. The great part about it is that what I love to do here is also helping to further the glorious Kingdom of God.
The people that both work here, as well as the customers that use our software have really inspired me. It is so motivating to know that we have so many impactful men and women that span the entire globe and are working daily towards saving lives so that they may live eternally.
I’ve also had the privilege of being at one of our conferences, which if you haven’t attended one, I’d highly recommend it. Of course the training is phenomenal, but to feel the power of around 100 passionate pastors in one room praising God… it will change your world.
Our motto here at WORDsearch is “Serving those who preach and teach to change lives.” My daily prayer for us at WORDsearch is that we as Christ followers come to work with a burning desire to please God with every action we take. Because one customer at a time, we strive to give people the tools to learn more about how Jesus died for us and how everlasting life awaits us beyond these earthly times.
I think the most exciting thing to think about here is what I refer to as “the unknown.” It can be determined how many people we have reached and helped that use our software. However, I like to think of this concept as a tree. As the trunk of the tree, we are able to know how many tree branches are there based off the number of customers in our database. But, what we will never know, and what is truly “the unknown” is just how many people around the world have been impacted because of one of the thousands of tree branches. To have the opportunity to even have a tiny part of helping more people get into Heaven, for that I will be forever thankful.
Here are three verses that I personally find to be critical to our success here. I wanted to share these with all of you since ultimately, we are all brothers and sisters of Christ.
John 3:30 (HCSB)
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.”
Proverbs 3:5 (HCSB)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding.
2 Corinthians 4:2 (MSG)
2 We refuse to wear masks and play games. We don’t maneuver and manipulate behind the scenes. And we don’t twist God’s Word to suit ourselves. Rather, we keep everything we do and say out in the open, the whole truth on display, so that those who want to can see and judge for themselves in the presence of God.
I want to close with this final note… Through many different ways, I have come across customers who are thanking us for what we do. While that is always appreciated, I feel like we are the ones indebted to all of you. I want each and everybody to know just how grateful I am for the ministry that you do on a daily basis. Thank you for making the world a better place, but most of all, thank you for increasing the population of Heaven.
It’s been a pure blessing to be a part of this, but the thrilling part is that the best is still to come.
God bless you all.
