iOS 8 App Update Fix

ios_updateIf you recently updated your iOS device to iOS 8, you might have noticed an issue with the WORDsearch app crashing when you try to log-in to sync your library.
We are currently working on a fix so that this won’t happen in the future, but if you have already updated and are experiencing this issue, there is a one time fix. To fix this, log out of your account and then log back in prior to doing an initial sync after upgrading to iOS 8.
This should stop the freezing/crashing and get the app working and synced again. Thanks so much for your patience!

    Have not updated my iphone 5 to iOS8 but cannot log on anyway.

    • Hi James, sorry to hear that! There is an update coming soon to permanently fix the bugs that are happening, but in the meantime, here is something that has worked for many of our users….

      If you would like to, you can try deleting the app entirely off your iPad. Then, go back into the app store and re-download the app. Once the app loads, go ahead and log in with the same e-mail and password as before.

      Often times, just doing this process fixes it. We have noticed that it doesn’t fix the problem 100% of the time, but its success rate is pretty high. However, if this still doesn’t take care of your particular device, then sadly our best recommendation is to wait until the app update with the fixes has been completed.
