They say to err is human. I say to question is also human. The first attack by Satan on the human race was a question, “‘Has God said…?'” Humanity fell, and we’ve been questioning things ever since.
When Skeptics Ask: A Handbook on Christian Evidences is a book about questions. Several are fair questions, if they’re asked by someone who wants to learn the truth. You may have these questions, or you may be asked these questions. Whatever the case, reading this book will prepare you with logical answers. If someone doesn’t believe the Bible is true, they won’t be impressed when you tell them that it’s God-breathed and inspired. However, if you show them that logic agrees with the Bible, they may be persuaded to believe you. Norman Geisler does a good job of fairly representing questions asked about the Bible, and then logically answering those questions.
Using a variety of logical arguments, he demonstrates that God exists, that God must exist, and that God is a God like the one described in the Bible. So if you’re human and commonly surrounded by humans, and you’re looking to arm yourself with logic to strengthen and defend your faith, I recommend reading this book.
