A veteran is someone who at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to the people of the United States of America for any amount up to and including their life.” – Lt. Col. Veteran’s Day is a time set apart to stop and think about the people who have served the United States by fighting in wars and protecting our country throughout the years. As our way of honoring veterans today here at WORDsearch, we want to share our memories and appreciation of what they have done and what it means to us.
