Quick Tip – Share What You’re Studying

Have you ever been reading something in WORDsearch and wanted to share it with your social media friends? The Social Apps dialog allows you to post status updates to Facebook or Twitter with the text of whatever you’re currently reading. You don’t even have to exit WORDsearch and you can start a conversation.

To post to social applications:

Click on the Tools option on the Menu bar.

Click on Post to social application.

This box will appear with options to post to Facebook or Twitter.

Clicking on either social media site’s icon will take you to their log-in screen, where you will be able to log-in and post. After the first log-in, WORDsearch will remember your information if you’d like, allowing for quicker posting of updates.

Well, as a matter of fact I have tried to use the post to social media feature. But to no avail. It seems I need to wait for an update to come out before I will be able to use that feature. I think it has to do with a Windows update that came out. I still love the rest of the program though!

    • Hi Michael! So sorry you are having issues with the social media feature! Which version of WORDsearch are you using?

I upgraded to 11 so I could have the ability to post that I did not have in the previous 10 version.

        • Hi Michael! This is an issue that is being worked on, so sorry about the inconvenience! For now you can try copying the text you would like to share and then pasting it to share on your social media. Hope this helps!

Any idea when this issue will be fixed?

  4. Doesn’t work. Macbook – El Capitan 10.11.6 – FB Keeps telling me I have to log in. I log in. It tells me I have to log in. I log in again, and round and round I go. I have triple checked my log in info.

Hi, I have been trying to get this fixed since at least 2014. I would really like to see this issue resolved. I guess if more folks posted about this it might show the developers that we really would like that feature.
