Annotations allow you to add and edit highlights, bookmark, and notes to books and resources.
To insert a Highlight, Bookmark, Note, or to Copy Link, highlight the desired section of text in the open resource and select the desired option from the UI (User Interface) Ribbon at the bottom of resource pane.
The Annotation button is located on the top row of the open resource’s UI Ribbon.
Clicking the Annotation button will allow you to expand the Annotations UI Ribbon.
The Show/Hide button allows you to show or hide highlights, bookmarks and notes in the selected resource.
Clicking the All Annotations button will display all current annotations in a window at the bottom of the open resource pane.
Placing the mouse pointer over a highlight, bookmark, or note will display the Options Slider. The Options Slider allows users to Read, Expand, Edit, and Delete existing annotations.
Close All Annotations by clicking the X in the top right corner of the All Annotations window.
Clicking the Highlights button will display all current highlights specific to the resource being viewed in a window at the bottom of the open resource’s pane.
Clicking the Bookmarks button will display all current bookmarks specific to the resource being viewed in a window at the bottom of the open resource’s pane.
Clicking the Notes button will display all current notes specific to the resource being viewed in a window at the bottom of the open resource’s pane.
Bookmarks and Notes can be tagged with searchable reference tags to help organize the Annotations in that resource. Tags can be added when creating a Note or Bookmark, or by clicking Edit in the Options Slider.
