Quick Tip for WORDsearch 11 – Opening a Book from the Study Tab

Opening a book is a little different in WORDsearch 11, so this Quick Tip is here to help! Besides opening a book from the Library tab, you can quickly open one from the Study tab. To open a book from the new Study tab in WORDsearch 11, you can use the Open button on the main toolbar if you know the book’s title, common abbreviation, or author name. You can also access this from the File menu by selecting the “Open Book” option or by using its shortcut key, F9.

The Open Book dialog.

Typing in the dialog will show matching books, with the matched portion in red text. For example, opening the New International Bible is as simple as clicking on Open, typing “NIV” (without the quotes), verifying that the New International Version Bible is selected, and pressing Enter.
