Quick Tip for WORDsearch 11 – Second Monitor Support

With WORDsearch 11, if you have a second monitor, you can now use it for an independently sizable workspace.

Just click on the Display icon from the toolbar and it will open a second space.

A second workspace.

You can drag any window into the second workspace if it has a drag handle. Click and hold down the drag handle and drag the window over into the second workspace.

Drag handle outlined in red box.

Second workspace now with book dragged over.

When you minimize your second display it will appear as a tab on the bottom of your computer screen.

Any idea if WORDsearch 11 will work with Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) when it is released Sept. 30th?

  2. When will the hebrew come to the The Morph Explorer?

When will more of your titles be available to use in the BibleWorks program?

”WORDsearch has partnered with BibleWorks to make many of our titles available to use in the BibleWorks program. This page shows what’s available right now, but check back often because the list will be growing.” https://www.wordsearchbible.com/bible_works

    • Hi there! At this time we don’t have any more plans to do additional BibleWorks modules. Hebrew in the Morph Explorer is something we’d love to do but is not in the near future. Thanks so much for your patience!

  3. Wrong video linked in the post… 🙂

  4. Is there a way to open two different Bible Windows and have them display different book, chapter and verse at the same time.

    • Hi Tom, yes! Open two Bibles, then you can right-click on one and select “Undock.” It will then open in another window and will not follow the other Bible so you can have different books and verses open. Hope this helps!

      • Thanks kcommett, I did as you instructed and opened HCSE and ASV. Undocked ASV. It opened in another window but when I change book, chapter and verse both go to that verse. What did I fail to do correctly

        • Hi Tom, if you click on the little icon that has the green arrows and the number “1” in your book window, then you can select anything other than the same as the first Bible, then they shouldn’t be linked anymore. (If first Bible is Group 1, then select Group 2, for example).

          • Good morning kcomett,
I found that by going to my old Wordsearch Basic and remind myself of how it ws done there. Thank you very much.
I find this option very useful while studying about the birth of Christ, etc. where different Bible authors write about different aspect of Jesus lief. Much easier to fill in the entire story.
            Thank you again.

          • Awesome! Glad to help! 🙂
