“How I Use WORDsearch” – Customer Testimonial

Praise the Lord brothers and sisters of the most high God. Let me tell you quite frankly when I was asked to give my testimony about how WORDsearch software products help me in my sermon preparation I was stunned and honored and did not feel worthy.  Nevertheless to God be the glory. From the very beginning of my Christian journey I knew I would become a pastor and was unsure of where I would get my training. WORDsearch Bible software changed that for me.

“How I Use WORDsearch” – Customer Testimonial

image001I have had the privilege of ministering God’s Word for nearly 50 years. Like many fellow pastors I have often struggled with having enough time to get everything that seems to be screaming for my attention done. To be sure there were times I did not respond Biblically to those struggles, but received God’s forgiveness and continued to serve the Lord. As the Lord kept working with me by His grace, I came to realize that growing in my personal walk with Jesus Christ was more important than my administrative responsibilities, the spiritual care of God’s people, evangelistic outreach, and the ministry of His Word to His people.  That concept was reinforced by the ministry to missionaries in several countries that God developed over a period of time.

Weekly Devotional

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.  – 1 John 4: 7-11

At the start of the year it is common to focus on new beginnings.  Many people set new goals for themselves and resolve to see those goals realized. Even many Christians set out to read the Word of God afresh, and begin reading from the start of the Bible. By doing so, they are reacquainted with the timeless words “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” (Gen 1:1)

How WORDsearch Has Helped Me

Let me begin by stating that I completed an Undergrad Pastoral Ministry program 15 years ago in La Mirada, CA, and that I love to study the Word of God.  I became a pastor seven years ago with a congregation of 1,300 people who were hungry to learn how to apply the Bible to their lives. Recently, I planted a new church in Austin, Texas with only a family of four who started with us from the beginning that has grown to 50 people within two years.Fernando Anderson

I mention my past only to set the foundation of how the WORDsearch 10 software has helped me prepare and deliver God’s word.  I was blessed to get WS10 in September of 2012. The simplicity of the software allows me to prepare my sermon for each week and maintain my personal devotion and Bible study for myself in one centralized place.

There are many families who have been attending our Sunday morning services who were “Unchurched.” They did not know about Jesus, or had never attended a church service before, so they knew very little about the Bible. In particular, the Complete Biblical Library and the Preacher’s Outline and Sermon Bible have helped me give instruction on the passages we are going through each week in an in-depth and thorough delivery.

We Ought to Think Highly of Christ

Early Church Fathersfrom “The Second Epistle of Clement” in Ante-Nicene Fathers: The Writings of the Fathers Down To A.D. 325

Brethren, it is fitting that you should think of Jesus Christ as of God,—as the Judge of the living and the dead. And it does not become us to think lightly of our salvation; for if we think little of Him, we shall also hope but to obtain little [from Him]. And those of us who hear carelessly of these things, as if they were of small importance, commit sin, not knowing whence we have been called, and by whom, and to what place, and how much Jesus Christ submitted to suffer for our sakes.

Welcome to the New WORDsearch Blog

Welcome to the new (and revived) WORDsearch Bible Software Blog!

Since taking our blog offline last year, we have received numerous requests to bring the blog back. Those who have asked for it have certainly exhibited the words of Paul in Romans 8:25, “But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience” (HCSB). Well, much like the parable of the persistent widow (Luke 18:1-8), your own persistence has paid off.

Now that the blog is back, what can you expect to find? For starters, you can expect to find all the things that you loved about our old blog, such as our quick tips and product highlights. We’re not stopping there though, as there are plenty of new things that we plan on doing on the blog, such as product giveaways, devotions, and more! You can also expect to see many familiar faces alongside newer ones that you have yet to hear from.

Our goal is to improve our communication with you and be more transparent as a company. In the comments of any blog post feel free to ask us questions, make suggestions, or tell us how we can be of better service to you.

We’re excited to have our blog online again, and we hope you are too!
