Quick Tip – SpeedSearch

quick_tips_fb

Have you ever been studying in a passage and stumble upon a word or phrase in the text that you would like to know what your other books have to say about it? WORDsearch has a feature called SpeedSearch to help you quickly pause in your reading to search for that term in your other books.

speedsearch

Simply right-click on the word, or select a phrase, and then right-click in your selection. You have the choice of searching in the current book, all the books in the same Library category, the entire Library, or all books you have open on the desktop. Your current book will stay open and your results will open in another window. This can be useful when you are creating a sermon or lesson and want to study a specific word.

There’s this week’s Quick Tip! How often does SpeedSearch help you out? Share with us in the comments!

If the category has an arrow next to it, like Commentaries, you can click on it to see narrowed down options. In Commentaries, this would be New Testament or Old Testament. If you just click Commentaries, you’ll see both listed together.

To help you find what you need, here is what you’ll find in each category listed on the sidebar.
